Last week, a group of our residents went on a two-hour Betty Lou Cruise on Lake Mendota. Some of the most exciting sights seen on the cruise were the Governor’s Mansion, State Capitol, UW Campus, natural areas, and some lakefront estates.
“It was a fun & relaxing experience for everyone who attended,” said Lauren Banks, our Activities Coordinator. She added “for the residents who had never seen Madison from this viewpoint, it was especially memorable.” Lauren can’t wait for the next resident adventure!
The fish fry dinner on the cruise included all of the traditional Wisconsin sides plus a famous clam chowder and house made desserts. A complimentary glass of wine, beer, or a brandy old fashioned rounded out the meal.
